For my bell design, I wanted to draw upon the long drives in rural Missouri I would take to breathe and work through things. It’s such a privilege to have roadways and green spaces that create peace and tranquility when so much is going on in my brain and in my body. Often my depression spawns from long bouts of internet use so to get outside and appreciate nature is such a blessing and release. For this piece, I wanted to bring lots of bright, optimistic colors to a space worth celebrating.
