The Springfield Police Department Bell was officially unveiled on May 24, 2024. It is a permanent structure surrounded by artisan planters that can be found outside of SPD headquarters! This special bell is a collaboration between SPD and Abilities First.
This is the 16th Be Well Bell to be placed in the community.
It was really great painting the bell. I really appreciate that the police department values mental health. I hope when people see it, they can get inspired to have the courage to get the help they need.
