In honor of the one-year anniversary of the launch of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, Burrell’s Crisis Services and Be Well Initiatives have partnered to mark the milestone. This special 988 Be Well Bell highlights the new three-digit suicide and crisis lifeline, and is made possible through a grant from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
The 12th bell in the Be Well Bell collection is displayed at Schaible Lake in Springfield, MO.
This Southwest Missouri 988 bell is truly a collaboration of the amazing clients and staff at Burrell Behavioral Health coming together to complete a design that showcases our community. Participants were asked to create their own representation of the things that inspire hope, healing and a life they enjoy living. Each individual contribution is part of the overall honeycomb design, representing the individual as part of the collective whole.
