Ring in Hope, Healing & Wellness

Visible across our communities, Be Well Bells ring in a new narrative. Community wellness requires the commitment and participation of every single one of us. Be Well Bells serve as a symbol of hope and healing for our communities. Be Well Bells:

  • Elevate brain health
  • Serve as a visual reminder of ending stigma associated with brain health, inspiring lives worth living, and reducing suicide
  • Open conversations to additional supports and resources
  • Include a plaque with attached QR code that allows individuals to connect with brain health resources in the moment
  • Are decorative, custom sculptures designed by local artists
  • Inspire HOPE for a better tomorrow

Be Well Bell Inspiration

The Be Well Bell is inspired by Mental Health America's Mental Health Bell to serve as a symbol of hope, healing and wellness. In the 1950s, Mental Health America issued a call to asylums across the country to collect chains and shackles that were once used as restraints during mental health treatment. These chains and shackles were melted down and reshaped into a bell - a sign of hope. Burrell Behavioral Health was inspired by this initiative and reached out to Mental Health America for approval to utilize the bell for the Be Well Community Movement.

Let's Be Well Together!

Self-care starts TODAY with the wellness tools below, specially curated for you by the Be Well Team!

We have learned to develop plans for emergencies related to physical crises and natural disasters. Our mental health deserves this same preparation. A Be Well Plan outlines what we do when we are in a brain health crisis.

Start My Be Well Plan

Take a "Be Well Moment" during your day for short brain breaks rooted in self-care, connection, and evidence-based practices.

Be Well Moments

For most of us, we can only name a few emotions: happy, sad, and mad. But there are so many emotions we experience in any given day. The Be Well Feelings Finder can help you expand your vocabulary, while exploring how you are really feeling.

The Be Well Community Playlist includes hours of music that meets you where you are. The songs have all been featured as the "song of the day" in our community.
